In the heart of Embakasi lies a Community School for Needy Children that is part of the Community School Program that provides a beacon of hope, knowledge, and transformation for the underprivileged. Nestled amidst the informal settlements of Tassia and its neighboring areas, the school has provided education for over 1,000 children and has been a shining light since its inception in 2013.
We firmly believe that education possesses the unparalleled power to transform lives, and at our community school, this belief is the cornerstone of our mission.
Our commitment extends beyond the classroom. We cultivate critical thinking skills that empower children to make informed decisions and thrive in their interpersonal interactions.
Our programs not only impart essential knowledge but also act as a shield against negative influences such as harmful peer groups, sexual exploitation, and substance abuse.
Through our community school, we aspire to offer more than just education; we provide a holistic experience, including a diverse range of extracurricular activities such as football and chess . This ensures that children from informal settlements are not only equipped with the skills to compete in the job market but also imbued with a positive attitude that drives them to transform their. We are raising a slum child that can fit into any social setting.
